WashU Graduate J.J. Tomlin Pursuing Dream in Switzerland

When J.J. Tomlin graduated from Washington University as one of the most successful players in the football program’s history, his dream to play beyond college continued without dominating his thoughts.

In his senior year in 2016, Tomlin completed 304-of-477 passes for a school-record 3,760 yards and 36 touchdowns. He ranked fourth in NCAA Division III in passing yards, passing touchdowns and 13th in total offense (337.1). Tomlin threw for over 300 yards in eight of 11 games played, including twice throwing for more than 400. He holds the program record in completion percentage (64.7%), completions (781), passing attempts (1,208), passing yards (9,027), total offense (9,010), and touchdowns (83).
